A poor start by Barisal
In the opening match of the eighth edition of the BPL at the Sher-e-Bangla Stadium in Mirpur, Barishal did not have a good start in chasing 126 runs. Earlier, Caribbean opener Kennar Lewis of Chattogram Challengers hit a six off the first ball of the opening match of BPL 2022. However, the situation changed over time. Chattogram managed to put on a mediocre 125 runs on the scoreboard in 20 overs. On the other hand, Benny Howell scored 41 off 20 balls after the failure of top and middle order batters.
Miraz’s first four-wicket haul
Miraz could not win the match for his team despite bowling the best of his T20 career. For the first time in his 88-match T20 career, he took four wickets in an innings.
